Jacob is a member of Schweet Linde & Coulson whose practice focuses on commercial/business litigation and creditors rights and has extensive experience in these areas.
His clients include major banks and credit unions, businesses, lenders, contractors and individuals. Jacob prides himself on understanding the unique needs of each individual client and their particular matters. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and believes that each case, whether big or small, deserves special attention. He particularly enjoys working with his clients to develop sound strategies to help them meet their individual goals and obtain favorable results. He is also a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on pre and post judgment collection issues and serves as an arbitrator in King County’s mandatory arbitration program. Jacob was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor bestowed on 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40 in Washington for both 2020 and 2021.
He attended law school at Syracuse University College of Law in New York, during which time he worked as a student attorney for the school’s criminal defense clinic representing indigent defendants. He also served as an Associate Editor for the Italian American Bar Association Journal and volunteered for the Cold Case Justice Initiative. Jacob received his undergraduate degree from Seattle University (cum laude) majoring in English with Departmental Honors. While there he served as a consultant for the university’s writing center.
In his free time, when he is not chasing around his son and daughter, he enjoys playing basketball, running, and eating Asian food.
