John joined Schweet Linde & Coulson as an associate in 2017. His practice focuses on real estate litigation, creditors’ rights, collections, and bankruptcy. John’s clients include individual and corporate creditors, trustees, local credit unions, and property owners. He represents their interests in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts, and has prevailed in the Washington Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. John also advises his clients on statutory and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, John worked for a mortgage banking law firm where he represented mortgage servicers and foreclosure trustees in all aspects of default servicing.
John is licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon. John grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Washington State University in 2007. He earned his J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 2010.
