Jacob is the managing partner of Schweet Linde & Rosenblum, PLLC. For more than fifteen years his practice has focused on commercial litigation, post-judgment remedies, insolvency proceedings, and every other facet of creditors' rights litigation. His clients include major banks, lenders, credit unions, businesses, contractors, and individuals.
Jacob has been selected to the Washington Super Lawyers list in Creditor Debtor Rights each year since 2023. Before that, Super Lawyers named him a Rising Star in both 2020 and 2021, an honor limited to no more than 2.5 percent of Washington lawyers. He has served as an expert witness on creditors' rights issues in multiple cases, is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on commercial litigation and pre- and post-judgment collection, and serves as an arbitrator in King County Superior Court's civil arbitration program.
Jacob earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, where he worked as a student attorney in the school's criminal defense clinic representing indigent defendants, served as an Associate Editor of the Italian American Bar Association Journal, and volunteered with the Cold Case Justice Initiative. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Seattle University, majoring in English with Departmental Honors, and worked as a consultant in the university's writing center.
Outside the office, when he is not chasing around his son and daughter, Jacob plays basketball and guitar, runs, and hunts down good Asian food.
