Jonathan is a business counselor and litigator specializing in contract, construction, franchise, and real estate litigation; employer and employee disputes; and creditor/debtor claims in and out of bankruptcy. Jonathan regularly litigates matters in King and Snohomish County, the Western District of Washington federal courts, and has successfully argued before both the Washington Court of Appeals and Washington Supreme Court.
For six years before joining Schweet, Linde & Rosenblum in 2025, Jonathan served as general counsel for a national construction company and construction franchisor. Jonathan’s experience as both firm and general counsel provides a unique perspective for each business he represents. Jonathan recognizes that creative and practical solutions that address the company’s needs and long-term goals are far more effective than any quick-fix litigation.
Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and his law degree from The George Washington University Law School. Jonathan’s peers named him a Washington Super Lawyer each year from 2012 to 2016. When not at work, you will find Jonathan at the golf course or on the tennis courts, at a Husky game, hiking with his family and two dogs, or playing music with friends.
