An expert in the debt collection field, Linda brings over 30 years experience to her work in new account assignments, preparing legal documents, setting court hearings and payment plans and/or remedies for collection of outstanding debts and judgments, and other related matters. Linda enjoys longstanding personal and professional relationships with many members of the firm as well as several key clients, and looks forward to working in partnership with them for years to come.
Karen is an experienced paralegal specializing in foreclosures, bankruptcies and evictions. Since joining SLC she has expanded her 18 years of experience to include collection pursuits, including employment and bank garnishments, wage assignments and judgment collection for a multitude of lenders across the state. Karen completed her B.A. in English and Sociology from the University of Washington in 1986. Prior to her legal career she worked in the advertising field, working in both the creative department and in broadcast production. An avid sports fan, Karen also enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, gardening and traveling.
Office Manager and Legal Assistant Danita Alefaio enjoys the spirit and camaraderie of a lively work environment. In addition to keeping the office running smoothly and on course, she is responsible for generating client billing statements and also handles accounts payable and receivable. Prior to joining the firm, Danita worked in the creditors’ rights legal field as a collector and legal assistant. In her free time, Danita enjoys watching movies, shopping and spending time with her family.
A prospective law school student, Brandon joined the firm after graduating from the University of Washington in 2015 with a B.A. in Political Economy. Brandon is responsible for many different tasks in the office, including preparing draft legal pleadings, performing legal research, aiding in pre-trial discovery, and managing electronic and hard client files. He relishes the opportunity at the firm to familiarize himself with the legal field, while learning skills beneficial to his future career. Outside the office, Brandon enjoys golf, staying active, and following his favorite sports teams.
